Timothy Andrews, third son of Joseph and Susannah, born 23d Feb X
1717, married 9th Sept., 1736, Thankful Hunn, who died lOth April,
1749 ; she was a member of Newington church, 1747 ; when second, he
married 15th June, 1749, Sarah Hurlbert. She was made executrix to
her husband's estate, by his will made 1765. Thankful, his first wife, was
daughter of Samuel Hunn, of Wethersfield, and Sarah Dix, his wife;
Thankful was born 24th June, 1716. He was a soldier in the French
war of 1755, and was disabled, so that he drew a gratuity from the State,
of £20, in 1763. It is thought he lived in Newington at this time, for Dr.
Wells, of Kensington, was one who certified to his disability, and Dr.
Porter, of Wethersfield, and Col. Lee, of New Britain. (See War record
